Day 01 :
Guwahati to Bomdila

Action: Arrive early at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station and take a long scenic drive into the mountains via Bhalukpong.
Stay: Bomdila (8–9 hours drive to break the altitude transition)

Day 02 :
Bomdila to Dirang

Action: Visit the panoramic Bomdila Monastery and explore the pristine Sangti Valley, known for black-necked cranes and kiwi orchards.
Stay: Dirang

Day 03 :
Dirang to Tawang via Sela Tunnel

Action: Ascend through the spectacular Sela Pass (13,700 ft) and see the frozen Sela Lake. Pay respects at the Jaswant Garh War Memorial and witness the thundering 100-meter-high Nuranang Falls (Jang Falls).

Day 04 :
Tawang Local Sightseeing

Action: Tour the historic Tawang Monastery (India’s largest Buddhist monastery). Visit the Giant Buddha Statue, Tawang War Memorial, and explore the local craft markets.

Day 05 :
Excursion to Bumla Pass & Madhuri Lake

Action: Take a local high-clearance SUV to Bumla Pass (15,200 ft) on the India-China border. Head to the pristine Sangetsar Lake (Madhuri Lake) and PT Tso Lake.
Stay: Tawang

Day 06 :
Tawang to Dirang / Bomdila

Action: Begin your descent out of the high mountains, stopping by scenic viewpoints or the Thupsung Dhargye Ling Monastery.
Stay: Dirang or Bomdila

Day 07 :
Drive back to Guwahati

Action: Long drive back to the plains of Assam for your evening departure flight or train
