The trek continues deeper into the Marsyangdi Valley, with the trail taking you through dense forests and alongside cascading waterfalls. You’ll cross the Marsyangdi River multiple times as you ascend to Dharapani, a village that marks the transition from subtropical forests to more alpine terrain. This day involves 5-6 hours of trekking.

After a challenging 5-6 hours of trekking, you’ll arrive in Chame, the district headquarters of Manang, where you can explore the town and rest for the night.
As you continue along the trail, the landscape becomes more dramatic, with towering rock formations and the majestic Annapurna II in view. This is the most challenging day of the trek as you cross the Thorong La Pass, one of the highest trekking passes in the world.
