Early morning, pick up and proceed ahead to McLeodganj (Dharamsala). Dharamsala (1,457 m/4,780 ft) is located in the Kangra Valley and is also known as the winter capital of Himachal Pradesh, in the shadow of the Dhauladhar Mountains. This hillside city is home to the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan government-in-exile. Visit St. John church and the Cricket stadium. Check in and stay overnight at pre-booked accommodation.
After early breakfast, proceed to visit Dal Lake, Naddi View Point, the official residence of the Dalai Lama, the waterfall, and Bhagsunath Temple. Stay overnight at pre-booked accommodation.
After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Later, you shall be taken to Dalhousie via Chamunda Devi Temple. Dalhousie (1,970 m/6,460 ft) is spread out over the 05 hills of Kathlog, Potreyn, Terah, Bakrota, and Bhangora. Dalhousie is a popular hill station that was founded by Lord Dalhousie in 1850 as a summer retreat near the Dhauladhar mountain range with pine trees and panoramic views. Relax after a long journey. After breakfast a full-day excursion to Chamba and Khajjiar. Chamba is the land of Kailash Mountain and Lord Shiva, is famous for its untouched natural beauty. It is a small but very attractive tourist destination in Himachal Pradesh, known for its exquisite natural beauty. Khajjiar (Mini Switzer Land of India), Khajjiar is a hill station in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Dating from the 12th century, Khajji Nag Temple is dedicated to a serpent god. Nearby, the high-altitude Khajjiar Lake is surrounded by a cedar forest. West, Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary is home to animals, including deer and bears. There is a small lake in the center with a floating island and 09-hole golf course here. So many activities like paragliding, zorbing, and horse-riding at Khajjiar to make your day pleasant. Amritsar was founded by Sri Guru Ramdass ji, the fourth guru of the Sikhs in about 1574 A.D. Before the city was founded, the area was covered with thick forests and had several lakes. It is also the centre of Sikhism and the site of the Sikhs' principal place of worship, the Harmandir Sahib or Golden Temple. After an early breakfast, proceed to witness the Border Beating Retreat Ceremony at Attari Border. Later, check into the hotel. The rest of the time is free at leisure. After breakfast, proceed to pay your obedience at Golden Temple, Amritsar, India (Sri Harimandir Sahib Amritsar). It is not only a central religious place of the Sikhs, but also a symbol of human brotherhood and equality. Everybody, irrespective of cast, creed or race, can seek spiritual solace and religious fulfilment without any hindrance. It also represents the distinct identity, glory and heritage of the Sikhs. To pen down the philosophy, ideology, the inner and outer beauty, as well as the historical legacy of Sri Harimandir Sahib, is a momentous task. It is a matter of experience rather than a matter of description. After the temple, visit Jallianwala Bagh, a historical monument that tells the sad story of mass killing during the independence movement in India.
Later visit Durgiana Temple or Shri Durgiana Mandir, a Hindu temple situated in the city of Amritsar in Punjab, India. Though a Hindu temple, its architecture is similar to the Sikh Harmandir Sahib. The temple derives its name from the Goddess Durga, the chief Goddess who is worshipped here. Idols of Lakshmi and Vishnu are also located and worshipped in the temple. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and be dropped off at Amritsar Airport / Amritsar Railway Station for your onward journey.

Summer (March to June): Pleasant weather (16°C to 30°C), ideal for sightseeing and trekking.
Winter (October to February): Best for snow lovers, especially in Dalhousie and McLeodganj; it can get quite cold (-2°C to 10°C).

Even in summer, carry light woolens for the evenings in the hills. For winter trips, heavy jackets and thermal wear are essential.
