After breakfast transfer to Tawang. Traveling from Dirang to Tawang is a scenic and thrilling journey that takes you deeper into the heart of Arunachal Pradesh's majestic landscapes. The route covers around 130 kilometers, and the journey typically takes about 5-6 hours by road, depending on weather and road conditions.
En route sightseeing:
Dirang Hot spring: Not much to expect but it will be a good hike down to the hot spring pool. If you want to take a plunge - i would suggest to carry your towel.
SelaPass:One of the highest motorable roads in India, Sela Pass is a breathtaking experience, both literally and figuratively. The pass is often snow-clad, offering incredible views of the surrounding mountains
Sela Lake: Just before reaching the pass, stop at the stunning Sela Lake (Paradise Lake), which is a tranquil spot for photography.
JaswantGhar: After descending from Sela Pass, you can visit the JaswantGarh War Memorial, a tribute to Jaswant Singh Rawat, an Indian soldier who fought bravely during the 1962 Indo-China war. This is a solemn and patriotic spot to learn more about the region's history
After Breakfast you will be having second full day sightseeing of Tawang. Today you will be driven to the McMohan Line (Line of Control – Indo China). Later come back to Tawang.

Indian citizens need an Inner Line Permit (ILP), which can be applied for on the Arunachal Tourism Official Website Arunachal Tourism | Official Website. Foreigners require a Protected Area Permit (PAP).
The route includes steep hairpins and high-altitude passes. Hiring a local driver is highly recommended.
Even in summer, carry heavy woolens. Tawang temperatures can drop below freezing at night.
