October to March is ideal for pleasant weather. Visit in November for the Orange Festival in Jampui Hills.
It typically opens at 5:00 AM and closes at 9:00 PM (Summer) or 8:30 PM (Winter). Morning and evening Aarti times are the most spiritually vibrant.
Most temples are free. Ujjayanta Palace has a nominal museum entry fee (approx. ₹10-₹20) and a separate ticket for the laser show (~₹150)
